WNT supports Manufacturing Solutions Ireland

06/03/2017

The latest cutting tool developments from WNT at Manufacturing Solutions Ireland

WNT’s already strong links with the manufacturing sector in Ireland will be enhanced with its participation at the Manufacturing Solutions Ireland event to be held at the Limerick Institute of Technology on Wednesday, 24th May 2017. The event, organised by the Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) & GTMA, will be a key focal point for the manufacturing sector in Ireland during 2017, providing opportunities to view and discuss the latest technology.

WNT works closely with the LIT in delivering up to date cutting tool technology to its students. The opportunity to partner with it and the GTMA at Manufacturing Solutions Ireland will allow it to spread its message to a wider audience among the growing manufacturing sector in Ireland, particularly the oil and gas, and general engineering sectors. Adrian Fitts, WNT (UK)’s Business Development Manager says: “Ireland is a success story in terms of manufacturing and we are pleased to be a part of that, particularly the relationship we have with the Limerick Institute of Technology in developing future engineering talent. Our attendance at Manufacturing Solutions Ireland will provide a fantastic opportunity to further emphasise the benefits of high quality cutting tools and workholding solutions, combined with excellent technical support can bring.”

The show, which is a sell out from an exhibitor point of view, will provide a wide range of information for manufacturing and production engineers from 70 exhibitors showing a range of metrology, inspection, machine tools, workholding, cutting tools, and CAD/CAM/PLM manufacturing software, along with ancillary products and services. WNT can be found on stand 39 where a selection of its extensive range of precision cutting tools will be on display, along with advice from its technical sales and applications engineers Jerry Warren and Shane O’Donnell.
