Technical Sales Engineer (m/f)

Location: Changsha, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Guangzhou

 

Objectives of the Position

  • establish and continuously increase customer base
  • ensure continuous growth in turnover
  • achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction
  • support Service Partners
  • maximize profitability 

Regular communication and exchange of information with:

  • National Sales Manager (customer satisfaction, pricing, special customer wishes, actions, etc.)
  • superiors 

 

Tasks of the Position

  • acquisition of new customers 
  • individualized care of customers covering entire product range
  • planning of customer visits and regular reporting of visits via CRM system
  • fixing turnover and strategic goals for each customer
  • providing technical advice and support to customers
  • selling products, accepting sales orders and following up on quotations
  • management, ordering & inventory of materials for trials
  • conducting trials at customers
  • support of Service Partners
  • market introduction of new products
  • handling of complaints at customer site
  • constant observation of competitor pricing & product activity in the market
  • participation in shows, professional presentation and representation of the WNT brand 

 

Basic Requirements

  • Diploma in Mech / Production Engineering (Min.Req).
  • University degree: engineering or technical degree
  • Vocational Training in lathe operator, milling machine operator, metal cutting technician, machinist, tool maker, industrial mechanic
  • Additional skills: expertise in metal cutting
  • Language skills: English advantageous (not mandatory)
  • Good MS-Office skills
  • Further Computer Skills: Audius (WNT specific)
  • Min. 2 years work experience
