| The WNT concept was ahead of its time, right from the start
WNT was founded in 1987 near Kempten / Allgau as a model for a revolutionary distribution and care concept, and to provide a practice-oriented response to technical development in the machining industry ("NC technology").
The search for innovative manufacturers of precision tools as steady partners first led to a technical cooperation with PLANSEE TIZIT, which later developed into an enterprising cooperation as well.
Since 2002 WNT has been part of the CERATIZIT consortium - which emerged from the fusion of PLANSEE TIZIT with the Luxembourg CERAMETALL - and now functions as an across-the-board-marketing organisation for their internationally renowned machining tools.
