Advantages of the MonsterMill Typ ICR:

»   At the heart of MonsterMill's success is its capability of achieving metal removal rates as high as 700cm3/min when machining material with a tensile strength of up to 300 N/mm2.
»   The gold-coloured Ti1500-coating has a hardness of 3400 HV and is between 2 and 3 micron thick. The result is a high resistance to abrasion along with an ability to operate at temperatures up to 900°C.
»   Further aiding extended tool life is the coating's low friction value against steel of 0.7.
»   Cooling of the cutting area is provided either by external coolant/air blast or, alternatively, customers have the option of specifying, as standard, cutters with a through tool coolant supply.
»   The latter ensures that optimum cooling and swarf avacuation takes place.
»   By using the K30F carbide grade the MonsterMill has a high resistance to bending that ensures a highly stable cutting action.

»   The MonsterMill is also capable of general purpose machining of general steels up to tool steels, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, tungsten, molybdenum, titanium and titanium alloys, nickel alloys, high heat resisting steels.
